Adding a BiXBiT USA PDU to AMS

Here, we will go over the steps to adding a BiXBiT USA PDU to AMS and all the options you have once you have added it.

Things We Will Cover:

Step 1: Copying Your AMS API Key.

1.1. Click on the "Workspace" tab.

1.2. Then copy your AMS Key.

Step 2: Logging On To Your PDU.

2.1. After logging on to your BiXBiT USA PDU, click on the "AMS" tab on the left-hand side

2.2. Then click on the connect button in the middle of the screen.

Step 3: Connecting PDU To AMS.

3.1. Select the BiXBiT USA PDU that you are connecting.

3.2. Paste the AMS API key you copied in step 1 in the box.

3.3. Then click on the "Connect" button

Step 4: Go To The PDU Tab In AMS.

Click on the "PDU" tab on the left-hand side of AMS. Then you will see the following:

4.1. This box shows how many PDUs you have connected to AMS.

4.2. This shows how many outlets you have available and are using.

4.3. The current total amps for all of your Miners

4.4. The incoming voltage to the PDU.

4.5. The total power in watts for all of your miners.

4.6. This shows the total power used over the life of the PDU.

4.7. All the PDUs you have added to AMS are listed here.

Step 5: PDU Menu.

5.1. Click on the three dots on the right-hand side of your PDU.

5.2. Click on the "Overview" section on the drop-down menu.

Step 6: PDU Overview Screen.

6.1. The name of the PDU that you set.

6.2. The total number of outlets and number of outlets used on the PDU.

6.3. The incoming voltage of the PDU.

6.4 The current total amps for all of your Miners.

6.5. The total power in watts for all of your miners.

6.6. This shows the total power used over the life of the PDU.

6.7. These are the individual numbers for each outlet as well as the outlet on/off switches

6.8. Here, you will get all the metrics for PDU in a graph form.

6.9. The box provides all the essential information for your PDU.

Step 7: PDU Settings Page (Basic).

Note that this is very basic, as we will go over PDU settings in detail in another manual.

7.1. Click on the "Settings" tab at the top of the window.

7.2. This is where you can name your PDU.

7.3. These are your outlets; click on each one to rename it and set its own settings.

7.4. Here is where you can name each of your outlets.
