Things we will cover:

Step 1: How to Create Your Farm:

1.1 From the left side menu bar, select Farms.

1.2 Then select either of the "Create New Farm" buttons.

Step 2: Choosing a Farm Type:

2.1. Choose the custom version, then next. (Unless you have BiXBiT equipment, choose that option.)

Step 3: Create a Farm Start Page:

3.1. Enter your farm name.

3.2. enter the total number of miners on your farm.

3.3. Enter the number of columns. (Typically, this would be racks you have!)

3.4. Enter the number of Rows. (Typically, this would be the number of levels to your racks!)

3.5. Enter the number of lines. (Many people will not use this. It divides your rows up!)

Step 4: Some Examples of Farm Set-Up:

In this example, we will build a 40-miner farm and use two racks for 20 miners per rack!

4.1. We named this farm "Test."

4.2. We set the total miners to 40.

4.3. We set the columns 2. (To represent 2 Racks)

4.4. We set the Rows to 4. (To represent 4 shelves per rack!)

4.5. Lines we left at 1.

4.6. It shows us 2 racks, 4 shaves per rack, and 5 miners per shelf.

Now, let's see what would happen if we changed the number of lines to 2.

What it has done is take our rows and divide them in half.

In this example, we will build a farm that has 100 miners and five racks at 20 miners per rack:

4.7. The farm's name is "Test."

4.8. We set the total miners to 100.

4.9. We set the columns to 5. (To represent 5 racks!"

4.10. We set the rows to 5. (To represent 5 shelves per rack!"

4.11. We left the lines at 1.

4.12 It shows us 5 racks, 5 shaves per rack, and 4 miners per shelf.

We will build 1 rack holding 20 miners with 4 shelves for our farm:

  • Once your farm is designed how you want, hit "Next!"

Step 5: Adding a Miner to the Farm:

5.1 After you create your farm, you will now have a farm main page. Click on the profit tile to open up your farm.

5.2. Start where you would like; I prefer to start at the top left and go across. Then, click on the plus symbol to select the miner that corresponds to that spot on the rack.

5.3. First, I will show you how to enter miners one at a time. Select the miner you want to add, then click the "Add Miner" button.

5.4. You will see it populate in the spot where you clicked the + symbol.

Now, let's take a look at how you add multiple miners at once:

5.5. Click the top left + symbol again. When the "Choose Miners" screen comes up, select the miners you want and click "Add Miners." They will be added from left to right, top to bottom.

5.6 There you go, all three miners are in the farm.

Step 6: Different Views Inside Farms:

6.1. Click on the "Hashrate" button to see all of your miner's hashrate in the farm.

6.2. You can click on a miner and pull up this miner window (2). It is packed with helpful information and controls, such as:

  • Miner Model.

  • MAC address.

  • IP address that is a clickable link and will take you to the ASIC web interface of the miner.

  • plus the miner control shortcuts such as Start and stop the miner, overclock, change pools, reboot, and toggle LED.

6.3. Click on the "Temperature" button, which will show the temperatures of all the miners in the farm.

6.4. Click the "Control" button, to open the floating miner shortcut menu.

6.5. Click on the "Sort" Button, and you can:

  • Click and hold on a miner, and you can move it to different spots in your farm.

Step 7: The Different Tab Views Inside Farms:

7.1. Click on the "Statistic" tab at the top, and you can:

  • Check the Hashrate, Electrical Usage, and Temperature of your farm.

  • You can change the time period and adjust for Today, Yesterday, Week, and Month.

7.2. Click on the "Settings" tab at the top, and you can:

  • Change the farm name. (1)

  • change the number of miners and rack layout. (2)

  • Select a container data source. (3)

  • Enter the cost of your electricity so you can get the profitability of your mine. (4)

Step 7: Farm Home Page After Set-Up

7.1. Here on your "Farm" homepage, you will get a quick overview of all your farms. Each section will list the following:

  • Profit Tile- Shows your profit for the day, electrical costs, and your profit. (1)

  • Miners- Show the total miners in the farm, miners online, and miners offline. (2)

  • Hashrate- This shows the total hashrate of all the miners on the farm. (3)

  • Consumption- Show the total power usage for the farm. (4)

  • Temperature- Shows the highest board temp and chip temp in the farm. (5)
